William Chan joined Horn & Co. in 2007. After emigrating to the United States from Shanghai, China as a teenager, William has made San Francisco his home ever since. After obtaining his business degree in 1964, William started a career in Real Estate. As a highly successful Real Estate agent, he developed his expertise in residential and commercial properties and has represented buyers and sellers in hundreds of transactions. After being in real estate for over 10 years, William decided to launch his own company in the food processing and service industry. He grew his company to over 100 employees before eventually selling it to a larger enterprise. After a brief retirement, William decided he needed another challenge. As a Loan Officer with Horn & Co. Financial, William is able to bring over 30 years of business experience in helping his clients with their residential and commercial loan needs.
William also serves his client as a Real Estate Agent for Horn & Co.'s real estate division. William believes that his dual role as both a Loan Officer and Real Estate Agent allows him to offer his clients the best solutions and service when it comes to their real estate and lending needs. He is able to view the transaction from different perspectives and therefore able to provide the best possible options for his clients. He believes that the customer is number one, and demonstrates this belief through his hard work and dedication to each and every one of them.
When not helping clients, William enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. William speaks Cantonese and Mandarin and is a well-known member of the Chinese community in San Francisco. He is a technology buff and loves to learn about the latest in computers and technology. William loves to travel and travels at least once per year to his native Shanghai, in which he owns a vacation home. He is passionate about food and loves to cook.
