Crimson Lane Vineyards

Nestled in a narrow gap of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Crimson Lane Vineyards has been operating since the 1990s. In 2022, under new ownership, the Tasting Room was built and opened to the public. Horn & Co. collaborated with Moore Associates Architects to develop a landscape plan that guides guests through the Tasting Room grounds, showcasing stunning vistas of the 200-acre site and the surrounding mountains. Working closely with the ownership team and the Enology Department at Virginia Tech, Horn & Co. ensured that no selected plant species posed a risk as disease vectors for the vineyard’s grapes. Additionally, the outdoor terraces and parking areas were designed to maximize views and enhance the overall guest experience.
