Field and Frame
This post-transitional residence in Potomac, Maryland, was developed in collaboration with Randall Mars Architects, with a landscape that complements the home’s clean geometry and layered composition. A restrained material palette establishes a clear apron around the house, while layered, seasonal plantings, rich with ornamental grasses, contrast the architecture, softening its edges and seamlessly blending the built landscape into the surrounding woodland.
