Rehoboth Beach

This modern beauty is located in Rehoboth Beach, DE.  We collaborated with Kamm Architects on the layout of the front freestanding masonry walls, as well as the design of the wooden gates. The regimented house needed paving walls to firm up the apron on which the house sits. We designed the plantings and Corten steel water feature along the walls to delineate between the house and the garden. A rigorous grading plan keeps the pool terrace well drained through razor-thin gulleys. A concrete deck with no coping covered by a cantilevered slab keeps the paved surfaces minimal and sleek. The courtyard pool area is both austere and comfortable, playing with the geometry of the home for a contemporary, laid-back feel.
